It’s officially the best time of year… that’s right, the Sephora sale is back yet again and I’m ready to spend all of my $$$ on some cleansers and concealers. But also, that’s what we’re all doing during this quarantine right? Online shopping into oblivion? I’m not sure when I’ll get to use the makeup I’m about to buy, but all I know is that when we’re allowed back outside, I’m going all out. There’s officially no such thing as “we’re not dressing up” anymore.
I’m waaay too excited for this sale and I know I’m getting a few new things, but I wanted to show y’all some of the products that have worked AMAZINGLY for me in the past!
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Cleanser
One of my ride or die cleansers that I’ve used for the past two years – this cleanser will literally take EVERYTHING off your face, including those crazy eye looks and hard-to-take-off foundations. This cleanser always has my face feeling fresh, clean, and feeling incredibly smooth. This is definitely one of those cleansers I always go back to.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
This is insane…. I’ve only used this for 2 weeks so far, but it’s dramatically changed my skin in those two weeks. It contains salicylic acid, rice, and other properties that really help to calmly exfoliate the skin while also getting rid of acne. I had heard so many good things about this, but now I can say 100% that this is worth the money. More to come on this!
The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toning Solution
I think I have to set a limit for how much I talk about this because I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS AND IT IS UNHEALTHY. Not only this product, but I’m obsessed with everything from The Ordinary and it’s really no secret. Most products from The Ordinary are super affordable, but if I had to choose one product to tell you about, it would be the glycolic acid. This has helped my skin rebuild its texture, become smoother, and get rid of bumps on my face. My acne scars have faded dramatically over time, and I see a noticeable difference whenever I use this in the morning. The best part – it’s only about $8 and you get a HUGE bottle.
If you ever have a blemish that you want to get rid of overnight, this is the spot treatment for you. It’s not always the best idea to use spot treatment, but hey, sometimes they’re necessary. This one has never let me down, and every time I’ve used this, my breakouts have minimized by at least 80%.
Kiehls Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask
This is one of my favorite masks, because it literally pulls all of the impurities out of your skin. Last time I used it, my skin was going insane and there was so much inflammation and random breakouts. After using it, I immediately noticed an improvement in my skin’s texture, and the next morning, my breakouts had minimized by so much. This has been my go-to for about two years now, and it’s the best clay mask I’ve ever used.
Farmacy Beauty Honey Potion Face Mask
Another one of my favorite masks, and it’s one that deserved its OWN blog post…. read more about it HERE.
Farmacy Beauty AHA Resurfacing Honeymoon Glow Night Serum
This is my absolute favorite serum. It has 14% AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) in the form of fruit extract, and this is something that really exfoliates your skin by removing dead skin cells, smoothing out the texture of the skin, lightening acne scars, and plumps up the skin. You’re supposed to use this about 2-3 times a week, depending on your skin. Whenever I use it, I see such a big difference that I can hardly wait the two days to use it again! If you’ve been searching for a great serum, definitely grab this one.
Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream
I’m kind of cheating here because I really just started using this a week ago… but it’s made my skin SO FREAKING SOFT. Tatcha is truly a godsend when it comes to skincare because they have the best, most high-quality ingredients that will always make your skin feel nourished.
Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Gel Moisturizer
I love this moisturizer! The first thing I loved about it was the scent – it’s so citrusy and it really does wake you up in the morning when you use it. It’s perfect for combination or oily skin, and it sinks into the skin immediately without leaving a film.
NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation
This is a foundation I’ve talked about so much, people are probably tired of hearing about it…BUT IT’S JUST SO GOOD. Every time I’ve worn it, I’ve gotten compliments, and it’s made my skin look absolutely flawless. I love using this on formal occasions (so I don’t usually wear to work) because it’s just too good to use on a daily basis.
Farsali SkinTune Blur Primer
This is such a great primer and it truly does what it claims to do — it blurs your pores and makes your skin look airbrushed. I usually mix it in with my foundation and everything looks so beautiful in the end, and the NARS Radiant Longwear + Farsali combo is unmatched.
Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer
Another great Tatcha find that’s a cult favorite — this primer definitely smooths out any texture on the skin and blurs out pores. I love using this when I know I have some redness and blemishes to cover up, and it does the job perfectly.
IGK Volume Texture Spray
One of my absolute favorite hair products, this spray is so great at volumizing your waves or curls to make them look blown-out and beachy. The best part is, it doesn’t have any salt in it so it won’t make your hair feel crunchy or weird. I use this whenever I curl my hair and it also has a great hold that lasts a couple days!
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
This mask truly saves my hair whenever I’ve overused heat tools or neglected my coconut oil. I usually put it on in the shower and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes, and my hair feels incredibly soft and smooth after. SO worth it, and I love everything from Briogeo!
Hourglass Mineral Veil Setting Powder
This is the best powder to use if you don’t want to look like you’re wearing powder. It’s undetectable under your eyes and you will look so flawless. I don’t use this all the time because it’s so expensive, but whenever I do, I always get compliments.
YSL Black Opium Perfume
This is one of my favorite scents! It’s sweet and spicy at the same time, and I love wearing it on formal occasions.
Atelier Cologne Vanilla Insensée
This is the perfume that I always gravitate to, because it’s indescribable. It’s sweet, but it has an air of sophistication that’s unmatched. You just have to try it.
NEST Wild Poppy Perfume
This is the BEST summer scent, and it’s so fruity, floral, and fun, that I can’t stop wearing it.
And that’s it for my Sephora sale picks! These products are tried and true, and 80% of them I’ve purchased more than once. Sephora isn’t cheap, so make sure to use this sale to get some of the things you’ve been eyeing! Let me know if this helps <3
