Ahh, Drunk Elephant – the super expensive skincare brand that everyone talks about. It made waves in the skincare industry when it first came out in Sephora – but it quickly became really difficult for people to consistently buy skincare products that are over $100… per product. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely believe skincare is an investment. I’ve spent a considerable amount of money going to estheticians, curating my own skincare routine, and finding what works for my skin. I just don’t think it’s necessary to be going broke while searching for what works for your skin. If you find yourself in this boat and want to find the best Drunk Elephant dupes, keep reading:
Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
The Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum promises exactly what the name suggests – intensive hydration. It has some great ingredients (like vitamin b5) but the most prominent is hyaluronic acid. These days, hyaluronic acid is in almost every skincare product. It’s basically a buzz word that makes people want to buy products… so why would you want to spend $50 on a product when you can get the same results for less than $10?
DUPE: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
The Ordinary is one of the most affordable skincare brands, and it’s amazing for beginners who want to get into skincare without breaking the bank. This serum is super easy to use, and has almost the exact same ingredients. I personally love this serum – it really helps my dry skin stay plump and hydrated in the winter months!
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
I won’t lie – I did really love the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. It has a blend of a bunch of different AHAs – including glycolic, tartaric, citric, and lactic acids. It’s great for skin concerns such as acne scarring, texture, fine lines, and dull skin. Although I loved this product, the price tag was just too much for me to buy on a consistent basis. Then I turned to another product that gave me incredible results as well…
DUPE: Bliss Renew and Smooth Night Serum
Bliss is one of those super aesthetic, cute brands that you always reach for because of the packaging. But guess what- they have great ingredients too! The Bliss Renew & Smooth Night Serum is a great alternative to the DE Glycolic Night Serum because it’s about $65 cheaper, and it has very similar ingredients. They’re both designed to help the same skin concerns as well (texture, fine lines, acne scarring, etc). This definitely helped me get rid of my texture, and I’m never going back to DE.
Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum
The Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum has 15% l-ascorbic acid (or vitamin c) and 1% ferulic acid. This is great for skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, or dull skin. Although it has great reviews, there are a ton of other vitamin c serums on the market that will achieve the same results.
DUPE: Bliss Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-peptide Collagen Protecting and Brightening Serum
Another Bliss product – but trust me, this stuff works! It has the same type of vitamin c as the DE Vitamin C serum, and it works so well on acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. The price tag is also affordable, and you can find it at places like Ulta and Target for easy pickup!
Another dupe: Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum
This one has almost the exact same ingredients as the DE serum. It has incredible reviews, and it also has calming chamomile for those of you with sensitive skin. It’s been written about in top magazines like Marie Claire, Allure, and Women’s Health as one of the best vitamin c serums in the market for acne scarring, dull skin, and hyperpigmentation.
Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil
The Drunk Elephant Marula Oil…. if you ask me, it’s highly replaceable. In my opinion, facial oils should not be more than $15 (and I’ve used this product). If you’re interested in facial oils, check out the best dupe for the Drunk Elephant Marula Oil:
DUPE: The Ordinary Virgin Marula Oil
Like I said earlier, the Ordinary is one of the most reliable brands, and they have such amazing products for the best prices. The Ordinary’s Marula Oil is a great alternative to the DE Marula Oil, and it does the exact same thing – offers luscious, intense hydration to the skin.
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream
The Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream is amazing for those of you who are concerned about fine lines, dull, and dehydrated skin. It helps to rejuvenate the skin by the use of peptides, claiming to restore the skin to its natural state. This is another cult favorite among the DE fans, and it has some great ingredients to back it up.
DUPE: Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream
The Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream is the best dupe on the market for the DE Protini Polypeptide cream. It has incredibly similar ingredients and has the exact same goals when it comes to addressing skincare concerns – replenish, rejuvenate, and hydrate the skin. It’s also amazing for those of you who have concerns about fine lines – the peptides and ferulic acid will really help to diminish those over time.
And those are the best dupes for Drunk Elephant in the market right now! Make sure to keep checking back because the next set of dupes I’m going to talk about is for Sunday Riley. Also be sure to follow me on Instagram/Tiktok @alishasapproach for daily beauty and skincare reviews!
